Yes. Shorter boards can be heated by filling any unused blanket length with board offcuts. This helps maintain even heat distribution and protects the blanket during operation.

No. The Deck Bender features an integrated insulated blanket, eliminating the need for separate insulation or additional heating blankets. Increased insulation around both ends helps reduce heat loss and maintain a more uniform temperature across the heating zone, supporting consistent forming results and simplifying setup.
